Dear Garrett,
How are you? I haven't seen you and your family in ages! Guess that happens when I live on the other side of the country. How are things working out? You're at...Kentwood now right? Probably got that wrong....but I know you're at a different church! Which I bet is exciting...and probably not as new to you as I'm making it out to be.
How are the youth groups faring in Red Deer? It's such a difference here in St. John's. There's only a few youth groups out of the many many churches and we don't all get together. I really enjoyed when Red Deer had city wide get togethers with the youths. I help out with our church's youth group and love it. I'm so glad I was able to help out in Red Deer when I was there. I imagine I'll try and help out as much as I can until God puts me elsewhere. I'm hoping to find a church in Toronto I can help out with.
How are your girls? I bet they're getting big now. Are they in school yet? I can't believe how fast time goes by. Say hi to everyone for me!
Take Care.
Sincerely,
Yvette
Oh Yvette,
ReplyDeleteIt is so good to hear from you.. Especially in this neat letter type thingy haha. I am doing well. Very busy but I am keeping my head above water for now. And yes you are right I am at Kentwood. I am enjoying meeting new people and allowing God to use me in a different atmosphere. As for the youth groups in Red Deer, they appear to be doing well. For the most part they seem healthy. We are hoping we can do more stuff together in the future. I can imagine how different it is down east. Its a different culture all together in some ways and even when it comes to peoples faith. I am really glad to hear that you are still helping out with youth ministries. Its been really cool to see you grow and become who you are. I feel privileged to have served with you and I really miss you. As for my girls they are growing up fast. Zoe just turned 7! They are starting soccer this year as well. We have decided to home school them this year and we are loving it! Its a blessings and a challenge but it has been so worth it. I am praying for you Yvette. So are you still in school or are you on to some new adventure now? Thanks for writing me.
Blessings, your friend,
Garrett :)
