Dear Mr. Simms,
So I'm doing a little project this year where I write a letter a day to someone. Today's your lucky day! I guess I just want to let you know that I'm grateful for God putting you in my life the last year. I'm not sure if you and Nancy understand how amazing it is to have such wonderful people such as yourselves help us students from out of town out. We really appreciate the love and care you guys provide and we feel like we have a family here, despite being away from our own families. So thank you for that.
I am also not sure if you realize what you've done by inviting us out to your cabin "anytime". I know for sure that Tobi and I will definitely be out there as much as possible this summer to just hang out and get out of the city. It's a nice little oasis out of town and thankfully it's not too far. I'm planning on doing quite a bit of hiking this summer as well so I'll do my best to be out there when I can!
