Dear Em,
How's life going for ya? Enjoying the last bit of winter? I hope you snowboard or ski or else this winter was probably super long for you like the rest of us who don't get outside to do winter sports. I always found that if I did something I enjoyed, like snowboarding, in the winter it made it so much more enjoyable. But now that I'm out in Newfoundland with no where to go Snowboarding I find that it really drags on. Might just be a different kind of winter here too. It seems so long because it snows a ton and actually feels like winter and then the next day it rains a ton and all the snow disappears so it feels like spring. Then it repeats. Over and over and over.
Here I am writing another "double" letter (2 letters in one day). This week has been absolute chaos though. With only a few weeks left of school there's a lot to get done. I bet things are getting busy with you too. Can you believe your sister is graduating this year? It goes by soooo fast! I can't even believe that I'm finishing my undergraduate degree this year. I don't know when that happened haha. Soon you'll be graduating and off to explore the world. Did you go to London with your sister too? Do you know what you want to do after you're done school? I know you're probably asked that all the time and it's super annoying, but it's always an interesting question.
Things may seem kind of hectic right now and the spotlight might seem like it's on your sister with her graduating and all, but remember that your time will come too! Just be happy for her and support her in anyway you can, she'll really appreciate it. Have fun with it too. It's an event you get to get all fancy for :) and that's always a bonus. You two are both beautiful young women and will have a fabulous time I'm sure. I can't wait to see pictures!
Love you.
Sincerely,
Yvette
