Dear Ira

Dear Ira,
I can't believe I haven't written to you yet! I could have sworn I had...but when I searched to make sure I hadn't missed you, your name didn't come up on the list. I apologize for my tardiness, but alas your letter has come! How are you doing? I know I just saw you this morning, but I feel like we didn't have a lot of time to talk. It seems like every Sunday I try to catch up with everyone and what they did the previous week, but I never get to talk to everyone.
How is life going for you? Have you figured out what you're doing in the fall? I know how that question feels when people ask it haha. It's all I've been asked lately. But it makes sense that we get asked it because we're both trying to figure out school and life right? I'm excited for you for whatever you choose to do. I know God will make his will clear to you and open up doors and give you choices of all kinds.
You're such a blessing in my life. You make me smile with your jokes and puns and I appreciate your joy that you bring to the conversation every time I talk with you. I can't imagine how you do it, running around, working, volunteering, going to different studies and sleeping in there somewhere! It's amazing how God can give us so much energy and strength to get through our days even when we feel like we won't make it through. We truly are blessed.
I hope that you are able to rest easy on your decisions for the future. I also hope that you mother's visa goes through and you two will be reunited soon. I can't imagine how hard it is to be away from her for so long. It's nice we can skype and talk to our families on the phone, but it's nothing like seeing them in person.
If you ever need to talk just let me know.
Love you.
Sincerely,
Yvette
