Dear Emily

Dear Emily,
How're you? Probably isn't the best question to start the letter off with seeing as I just saw you yesterday, but maybe things have changed in the last 24 hours? I know that the clocks are changing wuthj. The next 24 hours and I'm not really pleased about that. I can't really imagine anyone who is, though I guess we do get an hour of sunshine so that's kind of nice....maybe.
How's your weekend been going? Are you busy with midterms and projects? I guess we kind of spoke about this too last night. I won't bore you with questions I may know the answers to already then I guess.
So an English degree? That's exciting! I have a few cousins who have their English and education degrees and love it. I could see how it's appealing and enjoyed English classes myself. I'm more of the creative writing type though. I could definitely get into that field. Maybe I'll persue it as a hobby. If only I had more time. Do you think you'll stay in NL when you finish? Do you know what you'd eventually like to do?
I'm happy we were able to meet and know that you're welcome in our group of friends. We all enjoy your company! You're really easy to get along with and I enjoy spending time with you. I hope all goes well in your next few years of studies, and don worry if you don't know what you want to do with your life you've still got plenty of time to decide! We should hang out sometime, grab a cup of coffee or something. :)
Love you.
Sincerely,
Yvette
