Dear Winter

Dear Winter,
I know you've probably been getting a lot of complaints lately, but seriously...don't you think you've overstayed your welcome just a little bit? I mean thanks for being here still and all to keep me from wanting to go outside and not be productive, but I've just got one little request. Can you please leave by next week when classes are over? Like not this Saturday but the one after. That'd be perfect. Stick around till then if you really need to. I don't mind. But if you go past that little date I'll start to be a little rude towards you. I know you enjoy Canada and all, but I'm telling yah, people are gonna start to wonder.
I've had a great time with you the past six months. I really have. You've been really beautiful. I mean you've had some bad times and acted pretty nasty, but overall it's been great. We've had a lot of fun and I can't wait for you to come back at the end of this year...but don't you think we all need a break from each other? I'm beginning to think summer died. How horrible would that be? Then you'd have to deal with us complaining all the time. Now we don't want that do we? So yah. Stay for a bit longer. Enjoy. But please back up by April 5 or charges are going to start adding up.
