Dear Keegan,
This'll be my 30th letter out of the 364 I plan on writing...I think that counts as one whole month. I'll count another 31 as another month later. I'm surprised I've actually got this far with it, but hey it's something to do and keeps me disciplined.
I have to thank you first of all for everything you've done for me during my stay in Newfoundland. If it wasn't for you I wouldn't have the amazing and supportive friend group I have, as well as a wonderful and welcoming church to attend every week. I have no clue where I'd be without any of that and it was you who got me in with the crowd...so thank you. I also want to say thank you for all the help you've given me otherwise. Life advice, Godly advice, friendly advice...it's all meant a lot to me and helped me grow in my faith, as well as a person.
You've done so much for the church community and our friends, I'm not sure if you know that. I don't mean to boost your pride or anything like that, but I think it is important that you know how much people appreciate having you around. You have no idea how many people I've spoken with who mention how much you've done for our group of friends and for the church. You're a positive influence for all of us and you help me realize how important it is that I keep my relationship with God strong.
Thanks for being there when I need someone to listen, when I have no idea what to do or where to go. Thanks for helping me realize how important it is to love our enemies and those we don't know...to show them our Christian love and how that can change a person for the better. I've made some wonderful friends because of it. And thank you for all the drives you've provided, it is greatly appreciated.
I hope all goes well in the future and pray that God will give you the strength and guidance you need now.
Love you.
Sincerely,
Yvette
