Dear Lexi,
How's life treating you? How's the winter in Seattle? Cold? I heard you were looking to get out of there and head closer to home...any news on that? I can't imagine living somewhere more southern than where I'm living right now and having milder winters. I was just on the phone with my mom and she was telling me about Greg's trip in Houston and how it's cold there right now...about 5 degrees. I laughed. Someone posted the other day an article on Newfoundland and one of the points was how Americans start freaking out when there's a few inches of snow....there's a place in Newfoundland that gets 21 feet of snow annually. That would be a bit much even for me and I love snow.
It's snowing here tonight. We got about a foot in 9 hours so far and we'll see if it continues. We're all secretly hoping for a snow day tomorrow but I have a feeling the plows will be out all night and we'll be back at school and work tomorrow. -sigh- Do you ever get snow days there? I don't imagine so. Alberta never had snow days, especially universities. I kind of like Newfoundland for that haha.
When are you coming up to visit again? Maybe this summer? If you are you should let me know when and maybe I'll see if I can be around when you do. We had a lot of fun when you came up last time and I hardly ever get to see you anyway so it would be nice.
I hope everything is going well down there. Hopefully it's not too cold, rainy or snowy. If it is I hope you get some days off or maybe a vacation to somewhere warm. Hoping everyone is safe and that you enjoy the days to come. Saw a picture of your cat, what a cutey :)
Love you.
Sincerely,
Yvette
