Dear Kenzie,
It's your lucky day today! Since I can't be there to celebrate your birthday with you or give you a gift/card, I figured a birthday letter might be nice. Something to end off your big day with. Maybe you won't get this until tomorrow or later because you're out with friends or having a time. I hope you are having a time...cause it's your birthday and you should be having fun, not sitting alone on a computer reading this.
Anyway! What did you do? Do you have a party planned for the weekend? Get out with the horses at all? Hopefully you figured something out. I can't wait for my birthday haha I'm already planning the weekend. How's school going? And life? How are the horses doing? How many do you have now? I seem to lose track. Seems every time I come back there's more of them ;)
I hope 4H is going well for you this year. Is your brother doing it as well? (With cattle I assume) You guys have no idea how cool I think you are. I tell my friends here about the farm all the time and mention you and your brother and how you both are a cowgirl and cowboy haha. Typical Albertans I say. But honestly you're so lucky to have grown up on the farm, I dreamed of it when I was a kid (though I was out there a lot of the time haha).
Life's pretty dull here in NL. Just got another dump of snow and it's freeeeeezing out (compared to you guys it's warm, but it's freezing for here). I miss home and wish I could spend a winter back there with everyone, but that won't be happening for a while I don't think. I really hope your birthday goes well and that this year brings a lot of fun and happiness for you.
