Dear Payden

Dear Payden,
How's life going? How's school treating you now that it's 2014? I'm sure you're busy with life again now that the holidays are over (sadly enough). I know I sure am. School's slowly starting up and I'm beginning to get a pile of things to do.
I just moved into a new house to watch it for some friends of ours and they have this awesome dog who just lies on her back all the time begging to have a belly rub. It's hilarious. I'll take a video and put it on facebook and your parents can show you. She's such a sweety.
I can't write a super long letter, I'm catching a cold and am hardly able to keep my eyes open right now....and it's early here. But I do want to let you know that I do miss you lots and wish I could be around more often. I feel like I'm the one cousin who hasn't really got to spend a ton of time with you (besides in Hawaii...if you remember that) and that makes me kind of sad. I really would enjoy it if I could live in Alberta and come see you and your family more often. It'd be fun, we'd get into lots of trouble I'm sure. ;)
Know that I'm praying for you and your future to come. I know that you're a bright and talented kid and that great things are ahead of you. You have two amazing parents, and it may be hard at times to get along with them and do what they say, but trust me they're telling you what to do for your own good. It'll all work out in the end, even through tough times. Your parents love you dearly...and so do we, your cousins and aunts and uncles. We can't wait to see how you grow up and what the future brings for you. I'm excited for you to get out of school and into the big world, even though that's years from now. It'll come faster than you think. So enjoy your time now!
