Dear Bethany,
How's the studying going? I've decided that 9:30 is a suitable time to give up on phonology, write a letter and then crash in bed. I'm terrified for that exam at this point. Guess it doesn't help that I'm so slack this semester because I know it's the last. Lucky for me I've just got papers for the most part. I can't imagine trying to study for 5 exams knowing they'd be the last ones. Hopefully you don't have too many. I know they might not be your last, but they'll be the last linguistic/undergrad ones you do!
That's so crazy eh? I'm so happy you got into law school. I'm sure you'll enjoy it and be an awesome lawyer in the end. It's going to be a lot of work and probably a few late nights, but in the end it'll definitely be worth it. I hope you enjoy it. It'd be hard to do...4? more years of school that you hate. I mean we all want to get out of school, but sometimes I remind myself that this is the only time in my life I'll probably get 4 months off of summer and 8 months of a schedule that doesn't go from 9-5. I've definitely been taking advantage of that this semester, napping numerous days in the week (which I never did before) and hanging out with lots of people (not such a bad thing).
We'll have to go out sometime. Hopefully we can find some more time to hang out and try to suffer through our linguistic courses together. I hate when you're not in class, it makes it so much harder to sit through for some reason haha. I'm glad I met you this year and finally know someone in my program as a friend. I've had some good laughs and hope there are more to come.
Good luck with your midterms this week and I pray you have an amazing break coming up. I'm hoping to be productive and start on a paper or two...but we all know how that goes. At least I'm putting effort into setting goals haha.
Love you.
Sincerely,
Yvette
