Dear Lawrence

Dear Lawrence,
How's life? Is the winter going okay in the land of flatness? I can't imagine it's very warm, all I've heard from Alberta is that it's freezing and there's a lot of snow. I imagine it's something similar to that in Saskatchewan too. I don't miss it at all to be honest. The only thing I can complain about here is the amount of snow I have to shovel, only to have it rain the next day and all disappear. It's a never ending battle. But then again I'm glad it doesn't stay because I wouldn't be able to shovel at all cause we get so much snow.
How's the family doing? I bet you and Bonnie are enjoying your house with just the two of you there, though probably lonely too. And different. I know mom and dad miss us so I'm sure you have moments where you miss them too. Do you get out to Alberta to visit Michelle at all? I can't imagine that'd be a fun trip in the winter either. And Kathleen's getting prepared for the wedding? That's crazy! And exciting! I wish I could go, but I don't think I'm going home this summer. Maybe...but I doubt it. Is it a summer wedding? I'll have to write her a letter too.
Hopefully mom and dad will be able to get out there in the summer to see you guys and have a weekend or week of fun with you and Bonnie. I had so much fun that summer in Saskatchewan with you guys and I miss it every summer that comes around. I wish I could be closer and just pop down for a visit, but I guess that won't be happening for a while.
Thank you for helping me out during that summer and keeping my company. I'm so glad that I had that summer to hang out with you guys like old times. I really missed it and remember all the fun times we had growing up. I hope all goes well in the near future and that you and Bonnie enjoy your children free house haha.
Love you.
Sincerely,
Yvette
