Dear Kathleen,
Well I feel bad now that I've written to your parents before I've written to you. You are all just so special to me so it's hard to pick which to write to first and since your mother has been helping me with this whole arthritis thing I guess she was the first one. But I should be saying congratulations to you! I know it's super late, but man that's so crazy!!!! And exciting!
I bet your life is completely nuts right now with everything going on. Are you in school too? I can't even imagine. Have you picked out a dress yet? When's the wedding? I wish I could be there for it, but alas I'm stuck on this rock for a while longer yet. I bet you'll have so much fun, weddings have to be one of my favorite things to go to. Everyone's so happy and having such a good time, I'm sure yours will be as well!
So the pup is living with you I hear? That's got to be nice too. I wish I could have Kiwi here with me. A friend and I are house-sitting right now for a family from our church and we're watching their dog as well. It's so wonderful to have a dog, I find it helps relieve stress and keeps me a bit happier with all the stupid stuff she does. And of course they're always cute and willing to listen to you blabber about what's wrong with the world. Are you guys renting a place or have you bought a house? Still in Humboldt? Where will the wedding be?
I'll stop with all the questions, I'm sure you get it all the time! I feel like I haven't seen you in forever (which is mostly true) and I miss you and your family so much. Like I said in your parents' letters....I had so much fun that summer I was in Saskatchewan and I'm truly grateful for having a second family like you guys. You really helped me get through some tough times and I'm so happy that we've been able to spend so many times together doing crazy things. Keep strong and I hope you have a successful future.
Love you.
Sincerely,
Yvette
