Dear Karen,
How's life treating you these days? Are you into midterms now? Hopefully you don't have too many this term. I think you have a more decent course load this time? How's that novel coming haha? Your dad was telling me how exciting it was that you were able to buy a novel and hope to read a bit over the semester. I can't imagine how difficult your course is with all the work they give you. I'd probably go insane. Then again that's probably why I'm not in the program. I'm okay with that though.
Does this winter seem to be dragging out to you too? Lately I've just been dreaming about summer and wanting to be somewhere warm. I really hope that this summer is good here in NL. I don't expect the summers we get back home, but I am praying for a few hot days where I can just lie around and wish for cooler weather. Just a few of those days though. You get too many and it gets annoying. It was over +40 back home one day with crazy humidity (which we never get) and I had to paint. I thought I was going to die and I was inside with air conditioning. I've never been in anything so warm and gross. I'm not really excited for the humidity here, it kind of drains me, but it'll be nicer than this winter weather!
Enough about weather though. I really hope courses are going well for you and that you're still enjoying your program. I know it must be hard to enjoy it when you've got so much to do, but in the end it'll all be worth it I'm sure! I always said if I went into any kind of medical program it would be pharmacy. Hopefully you and Dan have found some time to hang out and destress a bit over the semester. I bet it's been quite the change with him back in school. But now you have a dog too! That's got to be nice. I know it's been awesome having Sophie here to keep me company and help relieve my stress by just being silly.
Hoping to see you tomorrow at bible study. Keep up the hard work, you're almost finished!
Love you.
Sincerely,
Yvette
