Dear Mom,
Again I'm writing another "second" letter. But how could I not write a letter to you on your birthday?! I feel like everyone should know how awesome of a mother you are and I could write a letter every day explaining it. But that would go against what the point of all these letters are for. Not that I don't want to continually recognize you as an amazing person, but we all have to take our turns right? :)
How's your day going? I hope that even if dad is sick you have a delightful day and he treats you. Maybe you can postpone it for next weekend or something and go out for supper? Maybe a movie? I don't know if there's any good ones out I haven't seen any previews. I can't wait to go to Godzilla in May, I've already told Tobi that I'm buying tickets ahead of time for it.
Do you guys get Monday off? I feel like Family day should be occurring soon for you guys. I'm so glad that we get three days off this coming week. I really wished it was all week, but I can deal with Monday to Wednesday. It'll be a nice holiday. I'm also excited for you guys to come in May.
Tobi and I were watching the bachelor today and they did this thing called the Electric Run. It's a 5k run that's at night. Basically it's like a giant rave, but with no drugs or alcohol and you dress up in neon colors and have glow sticks and some people have light up clothes. You start running then at I think every 1 K there's a dance stop and then you keep going. It looks like a lot of fun. They do it in Calgary and Edmonton so maybe I can hit up AB when it's on sometime.
Anyway! I should let you go back to enjoying your festivities. I really hope all goes well today and that you are reminded multiple times about how much you are loved and how much we appreciate you. You're the most amazing person in my life and I wouldn't be where I am now without you. I love and miss you so much, especially on special days like this. Give Kiwi a hug and pretend it's me :)
Love you.
Sincerely,
Yvette
