Dear Jason

Dear Jason,
What's on the go? Ooooo that's a new question I haven't used yet. I'll have to keep looking through my brain for some good ones. Too bad you got that one. I'm sure some better ones will come up as soon as I publish this haha. Isn't that how it always goes though? Stupid brains never work on time when you need them to.
Anyway! Are you going to the retreat? I'm excited. Something I look forward to every year. I'm really glad I went the first year I was here. I look at some of the others who don't go out over night and shake my head because they're missing the fun parts haha. However I guess I'll be missing one of those fun nights unfortunately. Stupid midterms. You're lucky to have this term "off". I almost would rather be working. But soon I'll be done with this undergrad! Yay. Okay I'll stop making you jealous. Sorry.
How is work going? I still have no clue what you do or what a civil engineer does. Maybe designs roads and buildings? I feel like the term engineer to me is just someone who does boring stuff that I don't understand, but we need them so we might as well keep them around. And they always argue over which is the worst branch of engineering. You guys really like to keep it all a secret don't you?
It's good you came back from Ontario and got to meet Tobi and I before we're done school. Our group of friends at the church has really shifted and changed so much over the years I've been here and I've really enjoyed being a part of it. I love having friends that I can go to in times of crisis or just to hang out with and know they'll always be there for me. Thanks for everything and I'm glad there's someone in the group who gets my sarcasm and returns it. It doesn't make me feel so negative and cynical haha.
Love you.
Sincerely,
Yvette
